Covid changed the way we practice yoga. In-person class practice was adapted to online practice. Surprisingly it has worked well for us. Yoga has proven to be a helpful tool in this increasingly complex world, with individual stresses as well as external stressors like Covid-19, the war and many other factors. We are especially encouraged to see dedicated practices evolve into personal and spiritual growth. All beings yearn for Moksha (freedom).
Yoga as a mind-body exercise connects our body to our awareness, to draw us back from the external environment to introspection is imperative for personal and spiritual growth. Physical and mental well-being also improves as a result.
Why Stability and Space? Because the practice starts with developing stability and strength & creating space and flexibility to develop a fluid spine with free flow of energy throughout the Body, penetrating the layers to experience Bliss and Innate Joy which
essentially is who we are.
Our belief is spirituality has many paths. We full-heartedly embrace diversity and differing strengths as Yoga means simply ' to yoke' - to unite. Our team of practitioners embody that. The practice is serious but the attitude is one of fun, creativity and exploration. We have curated practices which have been useful in our individual spiritual journeys to share with you our love of yoga.
We hope you have as much fun as we have with this mind-body exploration. Namaste
Meet the practitioners
The yoga practitioners met during their teacher training in 2003 at Comoshambhala. Although they have taken divergent yoga paths, they remain firm friends and share with each other their learnings. They are grateful to Joan Seow who ignited them on the path and introduced them to their current teachers.
